Selayang area are mostly is still retaining most of its green areas and have a the potential to be developed into tourism spots based on eco-tourism such as Hutan Lipur Bukit Lagong Amenity Forest. Various recreational and tourist facilities offered here indirectly helped in reducing locals to from travel away in search of recreational activities thus enhancing another Selayang economy sector. At Bukit Lagong various facilities have been provided by MPS such such as rest shelters, fruit stalls, toilets, two bridges and a changing room facility. About RM 450,000.00 has been spent to provide comfort to the visitors.
